With a deep understanding of regenerative medicine and aesthetics gained from years of working with cutting-edge skincare technologies, Managing Director of Monesthetica Phil De Dubois is now poised to revolutionise the Australian skincare market.
In an exciting milestone for the Australian aesthetics market, Monesthetica has officially launched the groundbreaking skincare brand Préime DermaCeuticals. Known for its innovative approach to regenerative aesthetics, Préime has already gained international recognition for its advanced skincare solutions designed to enhance skin health and rejuvenation.
Now, under the leadership of Managing Director Phil De Dubois, Monesthetica is introducing this cutting-edge brand to Australian professionals, promising to redefine skin treatments through science-backed, high-performance formulations.
Préime DermaCeuticals combines the latest advancements in regenerative medicine with a focus on Pure Technology™, in which these advanced formulations target skin concerns like ageing, pigmentation, and inflammation, while strengthening the skin’s barrier and improving overall complexion.
Backed by over 20 years of professional skincare expertise, Préime DermaCeuticals has been meticulously crafted to meet the growing demand for regenerative aesthetics. The brand’s Regenerative Line and ‘Cocktail Solutions’ allow clinicians to tailor treatments to individual skin needs, either as standalone therapies or as part of a comprehensive regimen that enhances the outcomes of aesthetic devices and procedures.
We speak to Phil about his latest venture.
Tell us about your experience in the aesthetics industry?
For as long as I can remember I’ve always been passionate about skin, so I’m not surprised my journey has led me here despite my varied professional background.
After starting my career in advertising, I ventured into the medical device and aesthetics industry. I was first exposed to the exciting world of regenerative medicine working for a company that commercialised autologous cellular therapies developed for skin restoration. Their medical device was originally invented to treat severe burns and the technology quickly expanded to a wide range of applications including wound healing, pigmentary disorders, and aesthetics.
Over the years I spent there, I cultivated a clinical appreciation of the skin and the mechanisms of action involved in its function, and at times, dysfunction. Like many, I’ve been shuffling through with my own playlist of skin concerns including cystic acne, dermatitis, rosacea, pigmentation, and now adult acne seems to be on high rotation. I understand how psychologically damaging these conditions are and the unbelievable difference a ‘good skin day’ can make.
Joining Advanced Cosmeceuticals as their Operations Manager, well and truly fuelled my passion for the aesthetics industry and rapidly broadened my experience across light and energy-based devices,
and cosmeceuticals.
And I can’t mention Advanced Cosmeceuticals without singing the praises of Catherine Biedermann and the incredible inspiration that she is. I will forever be grateful for the rare privilege of being mentored for so many years by one of the industry’s most accomplished and respected leaders.
What motivated you to start your own company?
I thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at Advanced Cosmeceuticals but once the company was sold my time there came to a natural end following a corporate restructure.
I wanted to stay in the industry, and was very drawn to the regenerative aesthetics space, given my experience in regenerative medicine earlier in my career.
I’ve always believed the skin has its own innate intelligence, and we should work with that when addressing skin concerns and age management. Dysfunctional cellular signalling underpins chronic inflammation and leads to signs of poor skin health. Instead, we can help the skin help itself.
My international industry contacts introduced me to the latest, high-performing skincare brands from around the world including Préime and My Skin Chemistry. I was so impressed by the level of innovation behind these sophisticated brands that I couldn’t let the opportunity to distribute them in Australia pass me by.
Préime features a regenerative line powered by Pure Technology™. This cutting-edge range includes potent exosomes derived from human umbilical cord blood and PDRN in their purest form to activate and support the skin’s natural rejuvenation processes for healthier-looking skin.
My Skin Chemistry is a clinical skincare range exclusively formulated with a proprietary hyaluronic acid mixture featuring patented Sonicated Hyaluronic Acid. Sonicated Hyaluronic Acid transforms the look and feel of the skin in ways that traditional HA can’t and has been scientifically proven to reduce the signs of inflammation.
Both are concise brands that can easily slot into any existing skincare regime to improve the skin’s condition, barrier function and global signs of ageing.
My extensive experience working in senior management positions across operations, sales and marketing within regenerative medicine and the aesthetics industry provided the ideal foundation to start my own company and coupled with an evolving portfolio of transformative brands, Monesthetica was born.
