Alma Lasers takes aesthetic education above and beyond.
Alma Lasers, a global leader in energy-based medical and aesthetic solutions, proudly announces the triumphant conclusion of the sixth Alma Academy held in Barcelona from March 1 to March 4, 2024.
We were fortunate to be able to join the Australian team which consisted of over 15 Aussie practitioners, comprising of doctors, nurses and aesthetic practitioners who were a combination of current and new Alma clients.
The Aussie team joined nearly 400 physicians from 36 other countries around the globe, with two and a half days jam packed with education, world class presentations, breakout sessions where the delegates could experience hands-on experience and a combination of modalities and treatments to showcase their portfolio of devices.
Attendees were also treated to a zoom live video message from no other than Kate Hudson herself, Alma’s global ambassador. Kate commented how she has long been a customer of Alma’s and truly believes in their technology and has personally seen results, saying that Alma is always one step ahead and always beyond the trend in a world that’s constantly chasing the next big thing.
Notable speakers included Prof. Ofir Artzi and Prof. Moshe Lapidot from Israel, Dr. Munir Somji from the United Kingdom, Dr. Sachin Dhawan from India, and Dr. Tiago Baptista Fernandes from Portugal. The event also included our very own Dr Natasha Cook, with topics spanning from skin rejuvenation to combing modalities, such as bio remodelling with their lasers to tackle challenging skin conditions, scars, and body contouring, catering to dermatologists, aesthetic doctors, cosmetic surgeons, and plastic surgeons alike.
A highlight of the event was the live breakout sessions featuring Alma’s award-winning products and proven treatments in skin rejuvenation, including the flagship Harmony XL Pro, a versatile device offering a myriad of aesthetic indications. Also showcased was the iconic Alma Hybrid, a groundbreaking solution for skin rejuvenation and scar treatments, and Alma PrimeX, providing an unparalleled whole-body experience.
Another unforgettable experience was the grand social events, including a Spanish Tapas-filled dinner with a fantastic show of Flamenco dancers at Codorniu, which is the oldest and second largest producer of Cava (Spanish Sparkling wine), founded in 1551 near Barcelona and one of the oldest companies and winery worldwide.
Alma Academy continues to provide an exclusive opportunity for professionals to learn, engage, and excel in their field alongside industry leaders. Held in various global locations such as Greece, North America, Spain, Dubai, and Italy, the Alma Academy annually convenes world-leading experts in medical aesthetics, facilitating the sharing of recent research and real-world cases.
