Botanica Vaucluse, nestled in Sydney’s leafy Eastern suburbs, is the city’s latest paddock-to-plate style eatery, with executive chef Perry Hill curating a menu designed with ingredients straight from the restaurant’s 65-acre Jamberoo Valley farm. Guests will also be treated to gin made in-house and a wine list that focuses on Australian, natural, organic and biodynamic vineyards.
Interiors feature crisp white finishes, divine mirrored surfaces, pops of plush pink seating and lush greenery in every corner. But this new restaurant venue comes with a twist – it comes complete with a luxury day spa.
Sol Spa, presenting just as decadent an aesthetic as its restaurant counterpart, hosts a team of wellbeing specialists whose expertise ranges in a variety of natural and spiritual therapies for mind and body. There is a definite focus on providing a complete sensory journey.
The spa directly reflects Botanica’s philosophy of celebrating natural treatments, and incorporating the healing power of pure Australian ingredients.
Sol Spa offers a well-appointed menu of face and body treatments. Their extensive massage range includes traditional Swedish, sports and relaxation in addition to trigger point therapy, back realignment and Tui Na-influenced techniques. Other treatment options include a range of facials using Mukti organics, body scrubs and wraps, dry body brushing, reflexology and manis and pedis.
Traditional and Ayurveda treatments also feature heavily on Sol’s menu. This includes Chi Nei Tsang; a century-old variety of healing touch therapy from China, Reiki; a form of energy healing that centres on the manipulation of Ki, Marma Abhyanga; a therapy which combines traditional Ayurvedic massage techniques and acupressure of Marma points, Shirodhara; an Ayer Vedic warm oil stress relief therapy, and Thai herbal massage.
Guests are treated to complimentary herbal tea in the relaxation lounge on arrival, which is delightfully dressed in blush tones, fluffy textures, elegant sheer drapes and fresh florals.
Botanica Vaucluse is now open and welcoming guests at 2 Laguna Street, Vaucluse, and are excited to soon be completing the space with a café launching in July. This will offer a more casual dining setting plus artisanal giftwares for purchase.
