Come October 1, Alpha-H will commence a three-year distribution partnership with BLC Cosmetics.
BLC Cosmetics currently distributes Thalgo, Essie, Terrake, Kerstin Florian, Gewhol and The Balm Cosmetics.

Nicola Gleeson: We are delighted to add Alpha-H to our brand portfolio from October 1 2014 and we are excited to be able to support Alpha-H stockists in Australia with our 25 years of experience in the salon /spa industry. Furthermore, we are sure that existing Alpha-H stockists will enjoy the benefits of being a BLC partner – with inclusion in our Blue Sky Loyalty program, access to on-line ordering 24hrs/7days a week, a continued focus on order to dispatch performance and on-time delivery for each order for every stockist.
Will the Alpha-H brand focus shift under BLC?
BLC Cosmetics are proud of our partnership with Alpha-H and are excited to firmly cement Alpha-H’s position in Australia as an industry leader in the professional category. The relationship is a result of BLC’s strong heritage and expertise in the salon spa channel, a position that will see BLC continue to grow the Alpha-H brand in quality Australian salons. Alpha-H retains strategic control of the brand, focussing on product development, marketing and promotion. With the addition of Alpha-H to our brand portfolio, we continue our focus on delivering products to the salon spa industry that perform and will continue to perform. Alpha-H has from its inception been a professional use cosmeceutical brand with a series of professional grade peels with strong support in homecare products to continue the results beyond the treatment room.
How does Alpha-H fit into current BLC Cosmetics skincare stable (alongside Thalgo, Kerstin Florian, etc.)?
Alpha-H has been a leading cosmeceutical skincare brand in the Australian Beauty industry for the past twenty years. With its award winning products, cult following and large global network, it has been touted by UK press as one of Australia’s most successful exports. BLC’s expertise in identifying a ‘shining star’ brand performing in international markets stems from our deep understanding and dialogue with the salon spa channel, underpinning our knowledge of what is required to replicate this success locally.

Who will be providing training/education?

Our team of educators lead by Kim Thomasson, who celebrates her 20-year anniversary as BLC Cosmetics employee this month, are poised to take the message of Alpha-H’s results driven professional range to the field. This will be supported by the owner and founder of the brand, Michelle Doherty, with her knowledge on the ingredients and quality formulations that drive the brand’s reputation.
