Do you offer add-ons to your skin treatments?
With unpredictable closures still a threat and cancellations at an all time high, making the most of every minute your clients spend in your spa or clinic is more important than ever.
Treatment add-ons are an easy way to increase your revenue and can be used as a KPI for your staff to encourage a little extra selling.
We’ve rounded up some cost-effective treatment add-ons that will help you pamper your clients while increasing the value of your service menu. Best of all, most of these add-ons won’t take up a lot of extra time so don’t always need to be booked at the time of treatment but can instead be added on the day.
- LED Light Facial
LED treatments pair well with any skin treatment and will not only increase your revenue but give your clients better results too! Once your client is set up, you’ll be able to leave the room for the duration of the treatment and spend your time getting the next client ready or working on the business.
2. Neck and Decolletage Treatment
Hailed as the ‘French face’, treating the skin from the face down to the decolletage is not only a feeling of pure luxury but an important step in anti-ageing. You can offer it as an add-on to most facials if it’s not already included by simply taking each step of the routine a little further south.
3. Extractions
You can probably thank Instagram for the popularity for extractions and whether you love them or loathe them, you can’t deny they’re safer done in the hands of a pro. Offering them as an add-on won’t take up too much extra time and is well-paired with acne focused facials.
4. Dermaplaning
Offering exfoliation with the added benefit of removing peach fuzz hair from the sides of the face, dermaplaning is a popular add-on that will exponentially improve your clients glow.
5. Hand and Nail Treatments
While face masks are doing their thing, hand and nail treatments are a great way to fill in time and help to increase the value of each treatment. Adding a hand massage with a nourishing cream and finishing with a drop of cuticle oil on each nail brings spa vibes to any treatment.
6. Lip and Eye Masks
Lip and eye sheet masks can be an inexpensive way to increase the value of your treatments while helping to target specific concerns of your clients like dark circles, puffiness, or dryness on the lips. Best of all, it doesn’t take any extra effort from your team.
7. Take Home Sheet Mask
Whether you offer it as an add-on or work the cost into your treatment price, sheet-masks pair perfectly with skin treatments such as intense peels or lasers that can leave the skin feeling a little hot and bothered. You can encourage proper at-home care while also giving your team a natural entry to begin talking about your retail offering.
