What To Expect At The Thriving Through Menopause Symposium

The event aims to bridge the knowledge gap, enabling professionals to initiate meaningful conversations and offer comprehensive support for their patients.

The “Thriving Through Menopause Symposium” is set to impress with its debut on 24th February at the NSW State Library. This event is dedicated to redefining the approach to menopause, uniting experts and industry professionals to share insights and strategies that support women’s health during and after this transition.

Organised by Chiza Westcarr, an educator with over two decades of experience in aesthetics, the symposium focuses on promoting the holistic well-being and care of menopausal women. While skin specialists adeptly manage the visible signs of ageing, menopause encompasses a range of challenges, including cognitive changes, mood fluctuations, inflammation, joint pain, weight gain, and increased risks of cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis.

The lack of consistent, readily accessible information on menopause often leaves industry professionals uncertain about initiating conversations with patients—conversations that could foster stronger connections and provide much-needed reassurance and guidance. The Thriving Through Menopause Symposium is poised to change this.
