A household name throughout the world of medical aesthetics, Dr Lanzer has over 25 years’ experience and operates from locations across the country. His name and his cosmetic surgery clinics have become synonymous with what’s new, innovative and exciting in the cosmetic world, and he is taking great strides towards consumer education around procedures and safety with regular media and television appearances.
While Dr Lanzer specialises in Liposuction, Vaser Hi Def Liposculpture, Breast Reduction, Fat Transfer and Eyelid rejuvenation, he and his Melbourne and Sydney clinics also offer a range of non-surgical skin rejuvenation solutions – here are some of his favourites.
The DermaSweep Combines Exfoliation And Rejuvenation
A step up from microdermabrasion, DermaSweep utilises one of a kind patent-pending bristle tips to gently sweep away surface level skin for effective exfoliation, increased micro-circulation and enhanced lymphatic drainage and the penetration of active ingredients. Collagen formation is also stimulated.
Venus Viva
A lightweight, table-top device for skin rejuvenation, the Venus Viva features two applicators for various needs. The NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) applicator features small, needle-shaped pins that allow energy to penetrate deeper into tissue (for those requiring ablation and resurfacing of the skin) and the DiamondPolar™ applicator (for non-invasive wrinkle reduction) which uses a combination of Multi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMF) to allow for a safe build-up of heat and induction of fibroblast proliferation.
Ultherapy For A Non-Surgical Facelift
The first device in America to receive FDA approval as a non-surgical form of facelift, Ulthera directs ultrasound energy into the dermis and muscle layers to produce a contraction of the tissue, resulting in a lifting of the facial tissue. The most common areas of skin laxity treated by Ultherapy include lower face, neck, under eyes, crow’s feet and décolletage, but other areas such as undersides of the upper arms, upper inner thighs or above knees can also be treated.
Chemical Peels
A favourite for many (and for good reason) Dr Lanzer recommends chemical peels to reduce the appearance of sun-damaged skin, pigmentation, wrinkles, or to address skin texture problems. During a chemical peel treatment, practitioners remove the top layers of the skin in a bid to induce collagen remodelling, leading to a more youthful complexion. Dr Lanzer recommends glycolic acid peels as an effective, non-invasive treatment of fine lines and wrinkles.
Dr Lanzer advises that a second opinion is recommended before undergoing any surgical procedure.
