Demalux received CE certification for its Dermalux MD range earlier this month. The medical CE certification indicates conformity with health and safety standards within the European Union. Dermalux Tri Wave MD and Dermalux FLEX are currently the only LED devices in Australia that are CE certified.
Non-medical practitioners can use these devices, but a CE certification means Dermalux MD professionals can state medical claims for the treatment of acne, psoriasis, musculoskeletal pain and wound healing, as well as, cosmetic indications including rejuvenation, pigmentation and sensitive skin conditions.
