Antioxidant-Inner-Beauty-Boost

I fancied myself as being pretty up-to-speed with what constitutes a healthy diet, even if I don’t always practise it. That is, until I spent time with The Beauty Chef, Carla Oates, last week at the launch of her latest product range, Inner Beauty Boost.

As you’ll read in our story Gut Instincts – Beauty Begins In the Belly, there is an inextricable link between healthy digestion and beautiful skin (not to mention a body and brain functioning on all cylinders and that holy grail, a flat stomach).

Basically, it’s all about gut health and that is the abiding philosophy of The Beauty Chef and its inner beauty products and recipes.

I had always imagined that acidophilus and bifidus were all the probiotics you needed to promote gut health. Um, no. They are just the teeniest tip of a Titanic iceberg, Carla informed us.

To cut to the chase I have been using her delicious Antioxidant Inner Beauty Boost mixed with one of her original products, Glow, twice a day. In less than a week my pesky bloating has all but disappeared along with a spare kilo. And that was without trying. The magic formulas seem to have curbed my appetite for mindless grazing on snack foods.

You’ll read a lot more about gut health and The Beauty Chef in the next SPA+CLINIC magazine (due out from the last week of April) but in the meantime here’s a snapshot of Inner Beauty Boost, which comes in Antioxidant, Collagen and Hydration formulas.

They are organic, bio-fermented, enzyme-packed, gut-boosting prebiotic and probiotic concentrates designed to give you (and your clients) a daily shot of nutritional support that helps to protect skin and body from free-radical damage and cellular ageing.

Inner Beauty Boost is supercharged by The Beauty Chef’s exclusive new five-stage Flora Culture Plus fermentation process – whereby a variety of natural probiotic strains are used to ferment the carefully selected blend of ingredients to create a potent, bioactive concentrate.

Antioxidant, for instance, provides a minimum of six billion digestive balancing probiotics per 15ml serve.

Tested by Southern Cross University for its NKCA (natural killer cell activity), studies also show Antioxidant Inner Beauty Boost to have greater immune boosting properties than a high strength olive leaf extract.

With no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives and dairy, sugar and gluten free, each bottle of Inner Beauty Boost contains 33 x 15ml serves of concentrate to be mixed with 200ml of filtered water and taken daily. For optimal results, they can be combined with The Beauty Chef Inner Beauty Powder of choice.

And did I say it tastes great?!
