Four Seasons’ New Crystal Hotel Spa

The brand new Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, which is now launched and accepting bookings from August this year, has just released details of their hotel spa – and it’s looking pretty magical!

Sitting atop the 342 metre Comcast Technology Centre in the city’s vibrant downtown, the 219-room hotel boasts a full-floor spa and wellness sanctuary. Encompassing the entire 57th floor, the spa includes a lifestyle boutique, fitness centre (created in consultation with celebrity fitness guru Harley Pasternak) and a spectacular 136,000 litre indoor infinity pool.

Spa Director and award winner Verena Lasvigne-Fox; who has more than 15 years’ experience under her belt overseeing up to 16 spas for Four Seasons across Europe and the Middle East, has created an inspiring wellness menu incorporating products exclusive to Four Seasons Philadelphia. These include May Lindstrom Skin, Dr. Burgener Switzerland, Dr. Barbara Sturm and VITAMAN.

Coupled with the rhythmic and meditative sounds of singing crystal bowls, a visit to the spa is designed to create ‘pure bliss and relaxation among the clouds’.

In keeping with its holistic wellness approach, the spa features over 10,000 square feet with a subtle crystal theme, including over 300kg of crystals embedded into the walls to ensure a calm and relaxing environment. The spa is also currently working alongside passionate crystal healer, Rashia Bell. The crystal theme is also woven throughout the menu’s signature treatments, such as crystal massage & facials, and crystal energy healing. Nail services, light therapy, and indulgent spa packages are also on offer.

“As we become more connected with high-tech innovations that consume our everyday lives, I am thrilled to create a spa program that helps our guests find balance,” says Lasvigne-Fox.

Ben Shank, the Hotel’s General Manager, says “Guests will be in awe from the moment they step into the glass elevators on their swift journey to the 60th floor sky lobby, as they look out over the unobstructed cityscape from their dinner table at Jean-Georges Philadelphia, or swim up to the edge of the 57th floor infinity pool. We quite literally upend the traditional idea of a hotel and provide visitors with breath-taking experiences as they move through venues in our spectacular building.”
