Entrepreneur and Founder of Wellness Solutions, Tony de Leede, has just been named by residential cruise ship leader, Storylines, as a partner in creating a wellness centre aboard the MV Narrative. De Leede, as one of the biggest names in health and wellness globally for 40+ years, brings a wealth of international experience and expertise to the project.
The partnership came about by fate when De Leede – who was himself a client of Storylines – found out about the company’s newest upcoming ship build.

“Initially, I started as a customer of Storylines, then during a conversation one day, I asked about the lifestyle element of the ship. Becoming a Wellness Partner for Storylines was a great match given my experience in the wellness industry, plus I had previously lived on The World (Luxury Ship) so I understand the needs of the residents,” De Leede tells SPA+CLINIC.
Due to its nature as a residential ship, MV Narrative is anticipated to house those who purchase its residences at sea for lengthy periods of time. With that in mind, premium health and wellness amenities are paramount to the ship’s design.
“People live on the ship for the lifestyle, and the most important part of life is living long and living well. We want to provide the tools for people to do that easily – and that means making wellness accessible,” explains De Leede.
Set to take its maiden voyage in 2025, the MV Narrative will boast a 10,000 square foot health and wellness spa. Within the 24/7 centre, you’ll find extensive indoor and outdoor health and fitness facilities including a waterfront gym, lap pool, meditation room, fitness class spaces, relaxation pods, jacuzzi, steam room, breathing and meditation chairs, recovery massage chairs, infrared saunas and more.
The centre will also feature its very own anti-ageing clinic – under the direction of Dr Brian Martin – with a service offering including physical therapy, acupuncture, remedial massage, IV nutraceuticals, bioidentical hormone replacement, chelation therapy, pain management, aesthetic procedures, and rapid metabolic weight loss.

Revealing what he’s most excited about in this upcoming floating self-care haven, De Leede says:
“The new cutting edge ways we are delivering tech-enhanced wellness (including wellness pods and content) means the residents have wellness at their fingertips 24/7 and there is no staff required to conduct the treatments or classes.”
The ship includes fully-furnished one to four-bedroom apartments, studios and two-story penthouses. Prices for residences aboard the MV Narrative will start from $US875,000.
