Here Is The New Trend In Anti-Wrinkle That Young Patients Are Asking For

Explore the latest trend in cosmetic enhancements.

As aesthetic trends come and go, one new emerging trend in the cosmetic field looks likely to stick around for a long time to come. Micro-dosing or “Soft Anti-Wrinkle” is a trending version of anti-wrinkle treatment, and works just the same way as the standard procedure for anti-wrinkle, with the only point of difference being less units than the standard therapeutic dose.

“I have been watching this trend surface, and it is great for those who have never had the treatment before and have had reservations about it. This is pretty much a sample size for them,” Dr Vivek Eranki, CEO of Australian cosmetic clinic, Cosmetique, said.

What’s the difference between the standard anti-wrinkle appointment and this treatment?

“The biggest difference between the two is the amount of neurotoxin that’s injected into the site, with it using much smaller doses. Both treatments use the exact same concept of your standard selection of neurotoxin.” Dr Eranki explained.

“The second difference is that this treatment can treat more precise areas of the face than traditional anti-wrinkle. This means that it can be used to treat more complex problem areas, or very targeted locations, such as the bunny lines that show up on the side of the nose.”

Suitable candidates

“Depending on the condition of your skin, ‘Soft Anti-Wrinkle’ may or may not be recommended. If you have deep furrows in your skin, then the smaller dosage would not be recommended,” Dr Eranki said.

“Cosmetique has seen many younger women who are starting to show the first signs of ageing coming in requesting this, and they are often great candidates for treatment.

“Also, those who are new to anti-wrinkle services can request this as a way of seeing how they like the results. Typically, the results of ‘Soft Anti-Wrinkle’ are more subtle and natural looking. The downside is that the results don’t last as long as traditional treatment. If you’re wanting to look refreshed, this is the perfect option.”
