Victoria’s leading aesthetic professionals celebrated the launch of Venus Concept’s Viva MD at a gala dinner in Melbourne ’s luxurious Langham on February 25.
Hosted by Venus Concept and McFarlane Medical, the dinner attracted the who’s who of the state’s aesthetic industry including Gavin Chan, Dr Matt Holman, Dr Michael Weymouth and Dr Elissa Heineke.
Apart from enjoying the fabulous food, wine and conversation, the guests were able to get ‘close and personal’ to a new Viva MD and find out everything they need to know about the device’s game-changing results from Venus Concept’s local team including Gidon Silverman, Joel Sharp and Blake Williams.
In addition, the guests had the opportunity to hear leading dermatologist Dr Alice Rudd explain how the Viva MD worked and see the dramatic improvements it was making to her patients at Skindepth.
Dr Rudd told the audience that the device used nano-fractional radiofrequency to effectively resurface all types of skin including skin with active acne and/or acne scarring.
She explained that despite all the treatments available to treat acne scarring today (including ablative lasers, chemical peels and microneedling), nano-fractional radiofrequency was the “safer way’ to treat it.
After sharing some remarkable before-and-afters of patients she had treated successfully using the Viva MD, Dr Rudd concluded that the device, which is the most customisable ablation and coagulation settings available, is the “only resurfacing system that skin clinics need”.
The Venus Concept Gala Dinner was a great start to a packed weekend at the ASCD Symposium.
