The Science Behind the Technology:
TECAR Therapy employs two active electrodes, known as Capacitive Energy Transfer (CET) and Resistive Energy Transfer (RET), along with a return plate to complete the current flow. CET targets the superficial layers of the skin and soft tissues with high water content, while RET focuses on deeper tissues with less water content and higher resistance, such as bones, tendons, and cartilage. This dual-action approach ensures comprehensive and effective treatment for various aesthetic concerns.
There are two main models of the TECAR device, the Winback 1S, which uses the Capacitive and Resistive handpieces. The next model up, Winback 3SE Pro, comes with both the Capacitive and Resistive handpieces, alongside Tripolar and Bracelet attachments which all fit into the supporting trolley for ease of use.
